With all the pressure that comes with making New Year's Eve "the best night everrrrrrrr!", it seems the illusion is always more exciting than the reality.
You could ring in the New Year at the same club you go to every weekend, except this time you'll be forced to pay an even more ridiculous cover charge and the fire regulations will be non-existent. Or be adventurous and head to that same bar you go to every week, except this time the bathrooms will be even more disgusting and more people are guaranteed to spill their drink on you.
But however you choose to celebrate, it's probable that your night will never be as great as any other day of the year. In fact, it might go something like this...
