Turning 30 next year, Eternity represents everlasting romance inspired by a ring given to Wallis Simpson by Britain's Duke of Windsor (the former King Edward VIII). The auctioned ring was obtained by fashion icon Calvin Klein, whose fragrance department has been creating the Eternity series since 1988.

The olfactory story of love continues with the launch of Eternity Intense Calvin Klein, whose women's eau de toilette comes in a crimson flacon and the men's version in a charcoal-shade bottle.

Held at Siam Paragon's Beauty Hall, the event themed "Love That Has Turned Into Something More Powerful" featured Lydia-Sarunrat and Matthew Deane; and newlyweds Onchuma Durongdej and Pitipat Preedanont, who shared their recipes for a loving relationship. The advertising campaign, on the other hand, captures an intimate moment between the fragrance's original muse Christy Turlington Burns and her husband Ed Burns shot in black and white on a secluded beach.

The Eternity reinventions portray a love that has evolved into a passionate and unbreakable bond. The attachment is evoked in perfumery through a subtle, sensory connection forged by orris -- the iris' fragrant rootstock.

The fresh and floral feminine fragrance opens with orris, bergamot and aquatic floral notes while a sensual orris heart with osmanthus and liquid rose deepens into base notes of sandalwood, musk and benzoin.

Orris provides a powdery richness to the heart notes of the aromatic-woody men's fragrance. Top notes feature a spicy yet refreshingly modern twist of bergamot while the base note has cedarwood exuding an intoxicating woody earthiness.
