"Keep 'em peeled for news of the live return of Stereolab," the band wrote on its website. "Stereolab will undertake an extensive reissue campaign covering albums from 1993's Transient Random Noise-Bursts With Announcements through to 2004's Margerine Eclipse. All seven albums will be reissued throughout 2019."

The return would mark the end to their indefinite hiatus that came after the band played their last shows a decade ago.

So far, Stereolab has been added as a part of the line-up for 2019's Primavera Sound festival, from May 30 until June 1 in Barcelona, Spain. The festival also will feature Suede, Erykah Badu, Tame Impala, Interpol, Primal Scream, Liz Phair, Mac DeMarco, Courtney Barnett, Kurt Vile & The Violators, Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks, and many more.

Stereolab was formed in the early 90s by Laetitia Sadier and Tim Gane. Stereolab's career has lasted almost two decades and has gone through several line-up changes. The group plays a unique brand of pop music, fusing a variety of influences from 60s French pop, lounge, Brazilian bossa nova to German krautrock and electronic music. It won over a legion of fans through its trademark sound. Although the band went on hiatus in 2009, its influence on such genres as electronic, post-rock and indie rock can still be heard today. Since their decade-long hiatus, frontman Tim Gane has been performing with his new band Cavern of Anti-Matter, while Laetitia Sadier has released music both as a soloist and the Laetitia Sadier Source Ensemble, as well as guesting on albums by artists like Tyler, the Creator; Deerhoof; and Atlas Sound.

The upcoming album reissues follow this year's re-release of Stereolab's Switched On series of compilations, which collected tracks from EPs, singles and other non-album releases.

There's no update yet on release dates for these reissues, so keep 'em peeled, as they say. But in Thailand, music fans are able pre-order the albums via local CD and vinyl shops such as 8 Musique or Bungkumhouse Records, or visit Stereolab's official online store at duophonic.ochre.store/stereolab to catch them in person.
