Sitapisha, another social-media-resident fashion brand, moved away from the screen and cemented their stance in the real world with an official launch and recent fashion show of their latest collection "Winter Solstice" at Audrey Cafe & Bistro. Their elegant-chic frills debuted in 2012, but this latest collection is their first collaboration with young guest designer Ployvarin Songpakorn.
As usual with the sophisticated classy girl look, the hues are limited to classic and natural neutrals (like black and white), but Winter Solstice also sees a lot of blue tones that are meant to emulate wintertime. With this collection's colours, you can finally channel your inner Elsa and no one will judge, thanks to the modern selection of playsuits, girly skirts, tube tops, sleek blazers and twirly dresses.
The signature print features snowflakes, pine trees and icicles inspired by Ployvarin's trips abroad. "I had the opportunity to visit Europe and got to experience such scenes there, like the freezing coldness and snow. This collection is mainly inspired by my travels."
Sitapisha enjoys a 30,000-strong following on Instagram and the doll-eyed 23-year-old Ployvarin has long been the face of the brand, even before she collaborated with this collection.
Not only a supportive customer, but also close friends with the four owners of the brand, Ployvarin can usually be spotted on the social scene in Sitapisha's elegant and sweet, yet sexy lineament. One thing worth noting about Sitapisha is its non-existent ridiculous slits that render it far too revealing and hard to wear — props for that.
Ask the collaborator what her style is and she'll say: "This brand exactly. It's classy and it's wearable both afternoon or night. I go to many events in a day and don't have time to change, so the clothes here really suit my lifestyle."
Even without any previous training in fashion, we may just see this fashionista from the Red Bull family with a brand of her very own in the future. Perhaps her passion for fashion can make up for what she lacks in technicalities, as Winter Solstice is after all, pretty "cool" stuff.
