Recently, RMHC hosted its annual "2014 RMHC Thailand Gala Dinner" fundraising event in Thailand with the aim to raise funds to build the 3rd RMHC house for sick children's families in Thailand. It was the first time RMHC Thailand had organised such an event in Thailand. The aim is to raise funds to help children and families in line with its  three main RMHC projects, including "Ronald McDonald Recreational Room" and "Mobile services of Ronald McDonald" projects and  construction of the "3rd RMHC house in Thailand". Two RMHC houses have already been built for the families of sick children in Thailand.

A day of happiness and fun created especially for children and their families, the event was packed with entertainment performed by children from the Thai Red Cross Children's Home as well as activity zones and an art exhibition. Several celebrities joined the event and artists presented their works for public bidding to also raise funds.

Other highlights included a mini-live concert by Koh Mr Saxman, "Sound of Siam" jazz band and the likes of 'Tik Chiro' who not only showcased his powerful voice but drew portraits to help raise funds.
