Little misses with evil intentions are going to love Something Boudoir's second capsule collaboration collection, which brings make-up artist Amata Chittasenee (aka Pearypie) under its wing.
Something Boudoir's first collab in 2013 featured a girlie, unicorn-inspired collection by teen singers and sisters Faye and Fang (from the group Faye-Fang-Kaew), but Pearypie's street-chic duds are heaven-sent for those who prefer to be on Team Villain rather than Team Gorgeous-But-Useless-Damsel-In-Distress. Gone are fluttery and dainty structures, making way for a more sporty style, clothes the mistress of make-up likes to wear herself. The sweet core of short shorts and mini dresses remain — but so do bomber jackets, jerseys and overalls, each with a devilishly cute splash.

Drawing inspiration from three of the most iconic Disney villains — Ursula from The Little Mermaid, Cruella de Vil from 101 Dalmatians and the Evil Queen from Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs — the "Something Wicked" collection spells out a refreshingly mischievous kind of sweetness. The Ursula pieces follow the same colour palette as the character, as well as an oversized silhouette that mirrors the part-human, part-octopus sea witch's obese persona. Sequinned interpretations of her red lips and creepy iconic smokey eyes are the bold focuses of mini dresses and cropped tops.
A more mature selection can be found in the black-and-white pieces that attempt to reawaken Cruella de Vil's high-fashion couture. The pieces come long and flowing, creating a glamorous frame, and use a Dalmatian print, even though they are not made from real puppy fur (oh well). Lastly, the Evil Queen's line flaunts her signature sword-in-a-heart motif, as well as quirky phrases like "Bite me" and "Queen of Everything".
The signature print for the collection also draws on the obvious must-have of villains: poison. But instead of a tainted apple, it's a myriad of pears oozing with colourful toxins. Coming in two shades — black and pastel lavender — the pieces easily complement the other villainous pieces in the collection. A make-up artist is never without her trusty make-up bag either, so without a doubt you can also expect to find bags sporting the poisonous pear prints.
