Tum's marriage hopes dashed

SOCIAL & LIFESTYLE

Wealthy socialite Wichuda "Tum" Leenuthapong admits she has a weakness for handsome types, including well-known policemen who ask for huge loans.

Wichuda ‘Tum’ Leenuthapong and her ex-boyfriend, Attapol ‘Aun’ Ittayorpasakul.

Tum declared last week she had broken up with her policeman lover, Pol Lt Col Attapol "Aun" Ittayorpasakul, a one-time social media icon feted for his good looks.

Tum, the daughter of a car magnate, and deputy president of Directional Automobiles Development Company in Wang Thong Lang, said the couple had hoped to get married next year.

However, she said the relationship cooled after he asked her for a five million baht loan, on top of one million baht he had borrowed earlier.

Her patience finally snapped when a friend spotted her policeman lover with another woman.

Writing on social media last week, Tum said Aun, deputy commander of crime suppression at Suthisan police station, had asked her for one million baht barely a month into their relationship.

"I was too embarrassed on your behalf to tell my parents or my friends," she said.

Aun said he wanted the money so he could advance in the ranks of the police force. Tum said she agreed, but when Aun later asked for a five million baht loan, for reasons she would not reveal, Tum declined.

"I spoke to my family, who said he should wait until we were married first."

Aun disputes this version of events, insisting he never asked Tum for money. "The relationship ended because the other party failed to pay me due respect," he said.

He decided he could no longer live with his partner’s faults and flaws, so called off their two-year relationship last month.

"If I was really interested in her money as she claims, I would have agreed to marry and taken it, but I didn’t," he said.

"I did not seek money to buy a promotion as she claims. The other side is unhappy we broke up, and is taking it out on me."

Aun said he liked to pay his own way, and usually told Tum, if she offered to buy him something, that he would prefer to pay for it himself.

"Her claims that it was all about money have damaged my reputation, but I am willing to put up with it for her sake. If I respond it will only do the other party harm," he said.

Tum said many wealthy families would refuse to let their daughters go out with a man of ordinary means such as Aun. However, hers was more open-minded.

"They let me see whoever I wish, rich or poor." However, she was not interested in the wealthy ones, as she already has money.

She did not hold back in her generosity, even after his initial loan request raised doubts in her mind that he might have ulterior motives. "If he wanted anything, I bought it … his clothes, underwear, washing powder, face cream. I also lent him my car. All I asked was that he be faithful.

"He was popular on the internet back then, and handsome enough to pick and choose. I thought if this man was willing to propose to me, I would give up everything. Even now I still think I should have given him the money, so I could have avoided this problem.

"My friends joke with me, asking me if they can borrow five million baht so they can buy a man.

"They say I am mad, and I must have known what was going on.

"I have a weakness for good-looking men. If I am stupid, that’s a matter for me. I am not causing anyone any bother," she said.

Wanvisa ‘Elle’ Srivilai.

Keep ’em coming, says Elle

Actress and model Wanvisa "Elle" Srivilai says unsavoury types are free to send her saucy pictures on social media, as they fail to arouse her.

Elle, known for her sexy modelling work, said an unwelcome admirer recently sent her a bunch of pictures of his appendage on Facebook.

If that wasn’t enough, he followed it up with a handful of raunchy clips.

"He sent 10 pictures of his younger brother [penis]. At first I wasn’t interested. Next up, he sent a bunch of clips. I watched them, as I wanted to know what he would do next. Would he show his face?" she said.

"At first I was shocked, but when I regained my composure, I wrote back saying he was too small and it didn’t set off my imagination."

Elle agrees her sexy modelling work is partly to blame for the unwelcome attention, but says she is now getting used to it.

"I come across this problem often … people sending me strange messages, such as 'You have nice skin, it makes me forget myself' … or when I go to film a lakorn, sometimes I see men by the side of the road playing with themselves. I pick up my phone and take a picture," she said.

Elle, the daughter of veteran actor Krung Srivilai, said she was not intimidated by such predatory behaviour.

"I am not frightened of these types … they should be scared of me," he said. None of this has yet touched me personally, and I not sure if I will complain to police.

"I am not throwing down a challenge, but if they want to send me indecent stuff, send away, as it fails to interest me."

Her father had raised no objections to her modelling work.

"Last time I did a magazine spread, Dad told me he couldn’t see anything sexy about it. That shows he’s still OK with it," she said.

Supachai ‘A’ Sriwichit.

Supachai drops the bag

Extrovert talent manager to the stars, Supachai "A" Sriwichit, was so panicked by the pipebomb blasts near Siam Paragon last week that he ditched his trademark Hermes bag and jumped a safety barrier.

A, who owns a restaurant nearby, was passing through the Siam area on Sunday night with his young entourage when the bombs went off.

"I tossed my bag, my coat, and jumped the barrier, as I didn’t know which way I should go, and everyone was running about madly," he wrote on Facebook.

"Even in my panic, I couldn’t help but be worried about my young ones. Thankfully no one was hurt.

"I was able to retrieve my Hermes bag. I couldn’t find my coat, so if anyone comes across it, could you get in touch?"

No word was to hand on whether A and his coat have been reunited.
