What are employees in Thailand being warned against doing?

No word on how companies plan to handle staff who take 15 coffee breaks per day

A) Wearing fuzzy slippers at the workplace.

B) Commenting on people's weight or skin colour.

C) Openly announcing their need to go number two.

D) Using social media and chatting with friends online during office hours. Apparently it is bad enough that the Employers' Confederation of Thailand has issued a statement saying that workers can be legally fired without notice or compensation for such behaviour. The Bangkok Post reports that courts have sided with employers in recent cases involving the termination of social-media-abusing workers, ruling that such employees can cause damage to companies.

SCHOOL

Why are some parents angry at the Monessen Middle School in Pennsylvania?

A) Because its cafeteria serves super unhealthy food.

B) Because its students are given too much homework.

C) Because the equipment at the school's gym is old and dangerous.

D) Because students were given a Fifty-Shades-Of-Grey-themed word search. The puzzle somehow ended up in the hands of a few pupils who were serving in-school suspension, and came to public attention after parents found out about it, according to AP. The word search included explicit terms based on the erotic novel and movie, such as "bondage", "handcuffs", "leather cuffs", "spanking" and "submissive". The school has launched an investigation into the matter.

PROPOSAL

How did Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi's boyfriend propose to her?

A) By asking her on Facebook.

B) By putting the ring in a fortune cookie.

C) By organising a flash mob.

D) By using a drone. The actress's boyfriend, musician Wang Feng, proposed at her recent 36th birthday party. He put the 9.15-carat diamond ring in a white drone, which flew toward her at the party, reports the BBC. He then retrieved the rock from inside the drone, but kept it a bit old-fashioned by getting down on one knee and popping the question. She said yes, of course.
