La Montre Hermes' creative director, Philippe Delhotal has decidedly gone for slimmer models to appeal to ladies, while not forgetting the men. The Slim d'Hermes collection presents timepieces in slender cases at three sizes — 25, 32 and 39.5mm.

The watches feature a simple balanced design with a broad dial and lugs forming a right angle. The classic dial continues to appeal with original typography marking the hours, created by graphic designer Philippe Apeloig who collaborated with the house for several years.
In steel and rose gold variations, the women's watches come with or without diamond setting. The rose gold version is graced with a guilloche dial in white natural mother-of-pearl while the brand's ex-libris motif appears on the back of the case.
Delhotal plays with new colours for eye-catching alligator straps, which range from blackcurrant and sapphire blue to vermilion and ultraviolet options — to make a statement on the wrist.
Those who are not into crazy colours can opt for wristband available in box calf, Barenia leather strap or steel bracelet versions.
A quartz movement drives the 25mm and 32mm models, while an ultra-thin movement powers the larger 39.5mm models, available as a simple time-teller or a version equipped with a perpetual calendar.
One of the most demanding horological complications, the perpetual calendar counts off days and months while taking account of leap years and thus provides a four-year display, associated with a moon-phase indication in white mother-of-pearl set against an aventurine glass sky.
The integration of a micro-rotor serves to slim down the self-winding calibre measuring merely 2.6mm fitted inside the 39.5 watches, whose sapphire crystal case-back gives a glimpse of the movement and its details handcrafted according to Swiss watchmaking traditions.
