The rain and the heavy Friday night traffic couldn't keep them away. Superstars and socialites glittered at the red carpet event that marked the preview of H&M's first store in Thailand at Siam Paragon. Getting into the venue itself was not an easy task, even if you had your little paper handbag that served as an invitation. To access the first floor entrance to the store, you had to wait at the bottom of the M-floor escalator, where a black-tie attendant with slicked back hair and a stern face controlled the flow of guests. Photographers stood behind a cordoned-off area to catch the influx of celebrities as they made their red carpet appearances before disappearing into the vast 3,200 square metre store packed to the brim with items from the H&M Autumn/Winter 2012 collection.
Chadathip Chutrakul, JS Gill, Supaluck Umpujh, Khemanit Jamikorn and Kriengsak Tantiphipop.
DJ Buddha and DJ Plerny kept the atmosphere throbbing with non-stop R&B and hip hop music from their DJ booth near the entrance of the store.
