True to its founding spirit, the recent gala presented by the Thai chapter of the famed gastronomic society Chaine des Rotisseurs offered nothing but the best in dining. The event, organised as a whimsical journey around the Plaza Athenee Bangkok, was held to welcome new members and award outstanding participants in the prestigious society which dates back to 13th century France.

After the induction ceremony society president Prasobsook "Joe" Thawilvejjakul led some 70 distinguished guests through the pleasures of a pop-up dining experience. This year's theme incorporated the notion of a fun-filled, sumptuous journey throughout the hotel, conducted superbly by executive sous chef Thibault Chiumenti and chef de cuisine Daniel Bucher.
