Compared to Westerners, Asians are late-starters when it comes to revealing outward signs of advancing age, but that doesn't mean that women in this part of the world won't do their utmost to keep wrinkles at bay. This observation was made recently by Elisabeth Bouhadana, scientific communication director for L'Oreal Paris, who was in Bangkok for the launch of the brand's latest skincare range.
"The first sign of ageing tends to appear around the eye zone due to advancing years and facial expression and that makes European women worry about getting crow's feet," she said.
"Likely at a later age, Asians develop their first sign of ageing, which is generally fine lines under the eyes."
