Imagine a woman in a fragrance _ Jean Paul Gaultier pondered over this while creating his first scent, Classique, released in 1993.
His expression of femininity showed through its glass bottle shaped like a curvaceous body, as if it were a woman to hold in your hands. This woman, however, didn't appear in the nude, she had donned a corset that emphasised her sensual curves.
The original 1993 fragrance was embodied by rose, orange blossom, vanilla and amber wood, and there was a perfume extract in a bottle dressed in pink metal armour.
