Democrat MP for Rayong Sathit Pitutecha, the petitioner, said the court rejected the petition on the grounds that the compensation had only been approved in principle and no criteria for the payments had yet been set.
He would wait until the Budget Bureau, the Comptroller General's Department, and other agencies involved, have worked out the criteria for payment and then resubmit the petition.
Once payments were made, he would file another petition with the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC), seeking action against the government for malfeasance in violation of Article 157 of the Criminal Code and for being discriminatory.
