Chuan's son to wed (pic)
Surabot Leekpai, the only son of former prime minister Chuan Leekpai, has announced his intention to marry Mallika Jongwattana, or Nong Taptim, his co-host on VRZO television programme for teens on a TrueVision channel, the Daily News online reported Monday.

He said the engagement ceremony will be on Oct 26, when he and his bride-to-be will be granted an audience with Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to receive from her consecrated water.
The wedding party will be held on Nov 24 at the Centara Grand Hotel.
Mr Surabot said Mr Chuan was very pleased and had volunteered to design the invitation card himself and prepare a souvenir, which will be a collection of his line drawings.
He said that he, at the age of 25, and Ms Mallika, who is 24, may be seen as too young to get married, but they were determined to begin a wedded life together.
