SET up 5.50 points at opening

Thai stocks opened up 0.42% at the start of trade this morning.

The Stock Exchange of Thailand main index opened at 1,315.07 points, up 5.50 points from yesterday’s close. The trade value was 1.93 billion baht, with 298.70 million shares traded.

The SET50 index opened at 891.54 points, up 4.10 points, or 0.46%, with a total trade value of 1.53 billion baht.

The SET100 index went rose 8.63 points, or 0.44%, to 1,960.75 points, with a total turnover of 1.72 billion baht.

The SETHD index went up 2.36 points, or 0.20%, to 1,155.12 points, with a total turnover value of 233.88 million baht.

The MAI index gained 1.15 points, or 0.29%, to stand at 393.54 points, with total transaction value of 152.15 million baht.

Top five most active values were as follows;

KTB           stood at            18.60 baht, up 0.40 baht (2.20%)
PTTEP      stood at           157.50 baht, up 3.50 baht (2.27%)
CPN          stood at             77.50 baht, up 1.00 baht (1.31%)
CPALL       stood at             39.50 baht, unchanged
BAY           stood at             30.75 baht, up 0.50 baht (1.65%)
