PAD leaders charged in court
Fifteen leading members of the People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD) on Tuesday reported to the Criminal Court and were indicted in two cases related to the PAD's anti-government protests in 2008.

The first case involves 20 PAD membersaccused of laying siege to the parliament and the second involved six PAD leaders accused with intruding into Government House.
The 15 who reported to the court today included Suriyasai Katasila and Somsak Kosaisuk.
Puangthip Boonsanong, a PAD lawyer, said that Sondhi Limthongkul, a PAD core member, and five others had earlier reported to the court.
Ms Puangthip said, therefore, all of the 21 defendants had reported to the court. Mr Sondhi and some other PAD leaders were indicted in both cases.
They denied the charges.
The defendants in the parliament seizure case were released on bail of 200,000 baht each and those in the Government House intrusion case 150,000 baht each.
The court set April 29 for examination of witnesses and evidence in the two cases at 9am and 1.30pm.
