It followed a tip-off that the suspects were hiding at Ban Darulsalam in tambon Mo Mawi.

Arrested in the raid were Abdulloh Radaeng, 37, and Hasan Salae, 33.  They are wanted under a court warrant in connection with a bomb attack on a group of soldiers on a road near a village in tambon Prachan in Yarang district while on their way to a Children's Day celebration on Jan 11.

The bomb killed two soldiers and wounded two others.

The two men apprehended were members of a group of about 12 insurgents, police said. Most of them had now been arrested except for Annuwa Yueloh, who was believed to have fled the country.
