Kosit concedes defeat
Kosit Suwinijjit, independent runner No 10 in the Bangkok governor election, conceded defeat shortly after seeing an early result, still incomplete, of the poll.

Mr Kosit said Bangkok people still stuck to candidates representing political parties while he was running as an independent.
Despite the defeat, he was still firm on not running under the banner of a political party in the future.
