Man jumps to death from 5-star hotel
BANGKOK - A 27-year-old man is believed to have killed himself by jumping from the 26th floor of a five-star hotel in Pathumwan district because a model he had been dating for some time refused to have sex with him.

Paibul Jongcharoen, a stock broker, landed on Rama I Road in front of the Bangkok Convention Centre and died instantly, according to a report in Daily News.
He plunged from the swimming pool-garden level of the hotel. Police said they found a pair of leather shoes and a mobile phone belonging to the deceased on the floor there.
Police said the man was dating a "pretty", or product presenter, known only as Auu.
She told them Paibul had arranged a meeting with her to talk about a modelling job. They met in a suite on the 44th floor of the hotel.
When she arrived, Paibul gave her 30,000 baht and told her to go shopping at a mall nearby. He later told her he would give her at least 100,000 baht if she would pose so he could take her picture, said Ms Auu.
She said he also wanted her to invite more friends to work for him, saying that he would pay millions of baht to her and her friends.
Ms Auu told the police that afterwards he did not give her the promised payment. He left the room after she repeatedly asked for the payment he had promised.
She realised only later that he then fell to his death.
Police said further investigation revealed that the man painted and took photographs as a hobby. He often contacted good looking models via instant messenger to model for him.
Paibul was dating Ms Auu for about a year, but the woman refused to have an intimate relationship with him. Before his death, he offered her at least 100,000 baht for a modelling job and to have sex with him.
The woman did not accept the offer. This apparently caused him great stress and eventually led him to commit suicide, according to investigators.
