PTT Global refinery 'mini shutdown'

PTT Global Chemical Plc plans to shut unspecified units at its crude oil refinery in Rayong for scheduled maintenance, the company announced in an email today.

The processing plant will have a "mini shutdown" of 38 days from May to June, according to the email.

Additionally, a linear low-density polyethylene unit will shut from May 1 to May 25, while a low-density polyethylene plant will halt from May 27 to May 31 for maintenance, PTT Global said.

The Rayong refinery can process 280,000 barrels a day of crude oil and condensate, according to the company's website.
