Yaba worth B23m seized in Narathiwat
Police arrested two drug suspects in Narathiwat on Sunday and seized 94,000 methamphetamine pills, or yaba, with an estimated street value of 23.5 million baht.

Narathiwat governor Apinan Suetanuwong together with Pol Col Sombat Wangdee, the deputy provincial police chief, announced the arrests of Chalard Lachai, 29, and Niamin Ni-ngor, 24. Both suspects are from Pattani province.
According to police, the two confessed that they received the speed pills from a dealer in Narathiwat's Tak Bai district. They were hired to deliver the pills via a 10-wheel truck to clients in Sungai Kolok district.
Police said the pills were sold in Sungai Kolok at 250 baht each. Once smuggled to Malaysia, they would be sold at 350 baht each. In Singpore, the price would be almost five times higher.
