Mr Korkaew, a Pheu Thai Party list MP, was temporarily released on the conditions he must not again defame other people, incite violence, take to any rally stage to deliver a speech and not travel abroad without the court’s permission.
The court ruled that the co-leader of the red-shirt people group had been detained for 31 days and clearly showed his repentance, therefore his request for a temporary release on bail should be allowed on the set conditions.
Mr Korkaew’s bail was earlier revoked beause he was deemed to have violated the court's bail conditions by threatening the judges of the Constitution Court.
The MP is a defendant in a terrorism case related to the red-shirt protests in 2010.
