Democrats to launch censure motion

The opposition Democrats on Sunday resolved to file a motion of no-confidence in the government before the parliamentary session ends on Nov 28.

The decision was made at a meeting of opposition whips. 

The censure debate against the Pheu Thai-led government will mainly focus on two issues: corruption and the losses in the rice pledging scheme, and the costly water investment budget and poor planning and mismanagement which has resulted in repeated flooding, the meeting said.
