Jim Vandermeer of the Calgary Flames is consoled by goalie Nikolai Khabibulin of the Chicago Blackhawks after the Blackhawks won the game 4-1 to win their first playoff series in 13 years.
The Blackhawks scored three times in the first two periods and easily held on to win the series four games to two. They will play either San Jose or Vancouver in the next round.
