Bangkok Post: The world windows to Thailand

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) composite index on Tuesday lost 8.74 points or 1.29 per cent to close at 668.48 points. The market value was 20.17 billion baht, with 2.92 billion shares traded.

The SET100 index ended the session at 1,016.02 points, down 16.00 points or 1.55 per cent, with a total trade value of 17.21billion baht.

The SET50 index fell 7.88 points or 1.54 per cent to stay at 469.50 points, with a total transaction value of 15.70 billion baht.

The Market for Alternative Investment (mai) index moved down 0.79 points or 0.37 per cent to stand at 210.38 points, with a total turnover of 466.57 million baht.

Top five most active values were as follows;

PTTEP closed at 130.00 baht, down by 7.00 baht or 5.11 per cent.

PTT closed at 228.00 baht, down by 5.00 baht or 2.15 per cent.

PTTAR remained at 21.00 baht.

BANPU closed at 420.00 baht, down by 6.00 baht or 1.41 per cent.

KBANK closed at 76.25 baht, down by 2.25 baht or 2.87 per cent.
