Ex-CRES spokesman promoted

Col Sansern Kaewkamnerd, who served as director of the Centre for the Resolution of the Emergency Situation (CRES), the agency which handled the 2010 political unrest, has been promoted to deputy commander of the army's civil affairs school.

Col Sansern was one of 313 colonels who army chief Prayuth Chan-ocha has signed an order to promote. They were commanders of key combat units during the 2010 events.
