Weakened Gaemi hits Chon Buri

Heavy rain has hammered Chon Buri province, as storm Gaemi is downgraded to a low pressure system, reports said on Monday morning. 

Many parts of Sukhumvit road in the districts of Sattahip, Bang Lamung and Muang have been inundated, causing difficulties for commuters.

Meteorological Department deputy director-general Somchai Baimuang said Gaemi has been downgraded to a low pressure system.
