Malaysia to host ‘K-Pop Grammys’

YouTube sensation Psy will bring his Gangnam Style to Kuala Lumpur in January, when the Malaysian capital hosts K-Pop’s biggest annual awards show. 

Over 20 of Korea’s top artists including Psy, Big Bang, Super Junior, KARA, T-ara, CN Blue, FT Island, Infinite, Girls Generation and Beast will perform at the Golden Disk Awards at the Sepang International Circuit on Jan 15-16.

“We are delighted to host one of the most prestigious awards,” Kwon Jae Hoon, managing director of event sponsors Samsung Malaysia Electronics told a news conference, covered by Malaysia’s national news agency, Bernama
