Policeman wounded in Pattani clash

A policeman was wounded in a clash with suspected militants in Pattani's Khok Pho district on Monday afternoon, reports said. 

The clash occurred at about 3.40pm when a team of police rushed to Ban Pho in tambon Makrut on receiving a report that a number of militants were hiding in a house there.

Pol Cpl Sukri Sribu, 35, was wounded in the clash. He was admitted to Khok Pho Hospital.
