The meeting of Energy Policy and Planning Committee on Wednesday agreed to raise the State Oil Fund levy on petrol and gasohol by 0.20 baht a litre and 0.40 baht for gasohol E20 and diesel.
The oil fund levy increase takes effect from Thursday, Feb 28.
Energy Minister Pongsak Raktapongpaisan said after the meeting that the levies were increased on the back of a substantial decline in global oil prices.
