Twenty-four Furby fans fooled into buying fake dolls last month will receive full compensation for the 5.1 million baht they lost, according to the Crime Suppression Division (CSD).

Narong Amphanphai of the CSD said on Wednesday the victims will receive refunds on Thursday by cheques.

Alleged scammer Chonnikan Taichilasasoontorn was accused of using a 16-year-old girl to post online advertisements offering Furby dolls for sale at 2,990 baht each, 1,005 baht below the listed retail price.
