- +

Police have identified the person who hacked the website of the Office of the Prime Minister as a man from Nakhon Sri Thammarat and are tracking him down, according to Deputy Prime Minister Chalerm Yubamrung.

On Wednesday, around noon, the PM's Office website was hacked with a message that appeared alongside a doctored image of Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra laughing. The message made derogatory remarks about the premier's intelligence and sexual morality.

The hacker signed the bottom of the web page with the words "Unlimited Hack Team", but this group later denied any involvement.
