Korkaew released on bail

- +

The Criminal Court on Friday allowed bail for Korkaew Pikulthong, a co-leader of the United Front of Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD) with a surety of 600,000 baht, reports said.

Mr Korkaew, a Pheu Thai Party list MP, was temporarily released on the conditions he must not again defame other people, incite violence, take to any rally stage to deliver a speech and not travel abroad without the court’s permission.

The court ruled that the co-leader of the red-shirt people group had been detained for 31 days and clearly showed his repentance, therefore his request for a temporary release on bail should be allowed on the set conditions.
