Ex-monk Wirapol to return to Thailand

Defrocked monk Wirapol Sukphol will return to Thailand on July 31, Vimutti Dhamma Buddhist group chairman Sukhum Wongprasitthi said on Monday. 

Sukhum Wongprasitthi, centre, says ex-Buddhist monk Wirapol Sukphol, formerly known as Luang Pu Nen Kham, will return to Thailand on July 31, 2013.

"I've been contacting Mr Wirapol through various channels and he's still in the United States," Mr Sukhum said.
