YANGON - The budget airline Thai AirAsia will operate daily flights between Bangkok and Nay Pyi Daw to meet demand during the SEA Games, local media have reported.
Chief executive officer Tassapon Bijleveld said the daily flights would begin on Nov 15 to facilitate travel during the SEA Games in Myanmar's capital from Dec 11-22, the Myanma Alinn Daily reported.
Thai AirAsia will first introduce flights three times a week between Bangkok and Nay Pyi Daw on Oct 28, he said.
