Combined forces of the military and police will retake government offices which have been occupied by the People's Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) from Monday, Feb 3, Centre for Maintaining Peace and Order (CMPO) secretary Tarit Pengdith announced on Tuesday.
Mr Tarit, director of the Department of Special Investigation (DSI), said the CMPO's negotiation team led by police chief Pol Gen Adul Saengsingkaew would continue attempts to hold talks with PDRC protesters at all protest sites until Friday, Jan 31.
If they were unsuccessful, combined police-military forces would began asking for the return of the occupied government offices, starting Feb 3.
