The wife of slain former national sports shooter Jakkrit Panichpatikum, her mother and two other defendants have retracted earlier confessions and now deny all murder charges against them.
In a prosecution lawsuit, Jirasak Klinkhlai, 33; Jakkrit's mother-in-law Surang Duangjinda, 72; his wife Nitiwadee Pucharoenyos, and Santi Thongsem, 33, have been named as defendants for colluding in the murder of the former national sports shooter.
All defendants officially denied the charges at the Min Buri provincial court yesterday. The court set March 24 for the examination of evidence.
Jakkrit, 41, was gunned down on the night of Oct 19 by a motorcycle pillion passenger while he was driving near Ramkhamhaeng Soi 166 in Min Buri district.
