The Pheu Thai Party says it will submit additional evidence to the Election Commission against several Democrat Party members for alleged violation of local election law by slandering it during the March 3, 2013 Bangkok governor election.
Pheu Thai spokesman Prompong Nopparit said Wednesday several Democrat executives and members may have delivered slanderous political speeches that breached Sections 53 of the law on the election of MPs and senators during the gubernatorial poll last year.
The party’s legal team was gathering video footage and printed materials as evidence and would submit them to the EC for deliberation on Monday morning.
