Red shirts gather in Ayutthaya

AYUTTHAYA - Members of the United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD) in the central provinces descended on the old capital on Saturday for a major rally to counter anti-government rivals in Bangkok.

A rally site has been set up at the provincial sports arena in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya district to accommodate supporters mainly from Samut Prakan, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Sing Buri, Chai Nat, Ang Thong, Suphan Buri and Ratchaburi.
