The Vietnamese capital has drawn up a plan to build its first monorail train in the city in the latest bid to ease traffic gridlock.

The Hanoi People's Committee and the Transport Ministry are jointly working on the detail of the project, which could be in the build-operate-transfer form, the Vietnam News reported.
