Thailand proved on Friday that it has a pool of fine badminton players when Dechapol Puavaranukroh and Kittinupong Ketlen won the men’s doubles title at the World Junior Championships in Malaysia.

It was Thailand’s first men’s doubles title at the event after Ratchanok Intanon won the women’s singles crown three times in a row from 2009-2011 and Maneepong Jongjit and Rojana Jutabandit took the mixed doubles title in 2009.
