- +

The United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship on Sunday called for the president of the Supreme Court to reject the People's Democratic Reform Committee leader Suthep Thaugsuban's proposal for him to nominate a prime minister under Section 7 of the constitution.

The call was made by UDD chair Jatuporn Prompan on the second day of the UDD rally on Utthayan Road in Nakhon Pathom province in the presence of core leaders Weng Tojirakarn and Korkaew Pikulthong.

Mr Jatuporn's call was in response to Mr Suthep's proposal for the chairman of the Election Commission, the Senate speaker and the presidents of the Supreme Court, Supreme Administrative Court and Constitutional Court to nominate a prime minister under Section 7 of the constitution.
