Phnom Penh slashes passport fee for workers

Cambodia has slashed the price of a passport to $4 for its migrant workers and those seeking to study abroad. 

Nearly 200,000 Cambodian workers returned home last week but going back to Thailand could soon become a lot easier. - THANARAK KHOONTON

The sharp decrease from the regular price of $135 means many Cambodians can now afford to have the necessary documents to work legally in Thailand. The new fee took effect on Friday.
