B50bn 'IconSiam' to open in 2017

Siam Piwat and the CP Group have unveiled the 50-billion-baht IconSiam project which aims to turn a 10-kilometre land strip on a bank of the Chao Phraya River into a global tourist attraction.

The 50-rai project on Charoen Nakhon Road consists of a two-building shopping centre with total space of 525,000 sq m and a 3,500-seat conference centre. Both require an investment of 28 billion baht.
