1 dead in Mae Hong Son flooding

One man is dead and another is missing after flash floods hit parts of Mae Hong Son province early Wednesday.

Storm runoff from the mountain caused flooding in two tambons of Muang district. Permvittaya Kantasong, chief of disaster prevention and mitigation in Mae Hong Son, said soldiers and rescue teams went to inspect flooded Pang Mu tambon where four people were reported missing.
