This is Praew restaurant in Suphan Buri, following a raid; police discovered that the business was a front for a brothel.

Many of the 30 girls who worked there come from Laos and are aged between 14-18 years-old. It is alleged that the girls were lured into working at the brothel under false pretences.

During the raid five of the girls were taken into custody.

It is believed that at least 25 girls escaped detention. Their whereabouts is currently unknown.

The Bawina Hongsukul Foundation for the Protection of Women and Children has since tried to help some of the girls by finding them new homes via adoption. They will also provide mental health care for those suffering from mental disorders.

The police were called in to put an end to the operation. The alleged procurer of women for prostitution was also apprehended.

This corridor leads to the private rooms where the girls live and work. They were forbidden from leaving the building.

The logging books of each of the girls recorded how many clients they had served each night.

    For sure the informant was a Thai law obiding citizen.
    Encouraging !!

    One of the problems in these sort of cases is that the focus is on the crime and NOT on somebody does what so many people more should do...........report crime!!

    It will make life so much easyer for police to spring into action (which they will do)and sends out the right signal to all who break the law
