A couple kisses in the toilet during a world-record marathon kissing contest in Pattaya this month.Fourteen couples were told they must stay lip-to-lip throughout the competition. The couples break the world record if they remain kissing till the end of the two-day competition which ended on Feb 14.

People walk inside a five-kilometre anti-flood tunnel stretching underground between Rama IX to Ramkhamhaeng areas. The tunnel, which was opened recently, is one of four the City Hall plans to build to increase the efficiency of the water drainage system in the capital.

Royal Plaza where they have gathered to demand urgent action to the government is tackle their plights. The farmers with an assortment of problems come from groups including villagers affected by the Pak Moon dam in Ubon Ratchathani and those evicted from their homes in the forests.
