A temple boy holds up a large fish found belly-up near a temple in Pak Kret district of Nonthaburi. Many dead fish have been discovered in the Chao Phraya River, presumably killed by pollution form a sunken sugar barge further upstream in Ayutthaya. The barge's dissolved consignment is blamed for the deterioration of water quality and widespread damage to fish farms and natural fisheries in downstream provinces. Photo by Jetjaras Na Ranong.
