This African lion is among 14 seized at a house in Bangkok's Min Buri district by police and officials from the Natural Resources and Environment Ministry. Police also found 23 meerkats, 17 marmosets, 12 peacocks and various turtles and birds in the raid. Army mechanics from the First Airmobile Company inspect a helicopter that crash-landed in a ditch in Nakhon Nayok's Ban Na district. The pilot reported a fault with the aircraft's rear rotor on his way to Sa Kaeo and decided to make an emergency landing. Five of the eight soldiers on board were injured.
